Mega-City One, 2130 AD. This vast urban nightmare on the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America is home to 400 million citizens, every one a potential criminal. Grey Area: This Island Earth 
North America, the near future. The Global Exo Segregation Zone – aka the GREY AREA – is a huge sector in Arizona given over to housing the large number of extra-terrestrial immigrants that arrive on Earth seeking a new home. A massive shanty town that acts as a holding area, it’s policed by Exo Transfer Control squads, heavily armed and armoured cops that patrol and keep the peace amongst the aliens.
Brass Sun: The Wheel of Worlds 
The Orrery is a fully functional, life-size clockwork solar system. A clutch of planets, moons and asteroids orbit a vast, life-giving BRASS SUN via immense metal spars, its origin and purpose long since forgotten. The once unified collection of worlds have regressed into eccentric fiefdoms and petty baronies. One such planet, Hind Leg, is ruled by religious dogma – its leaders believe the Cog is Creation, and any suggestion that the sun is slowing is treated as heresy. But for many, there’s no escaping the truth that worlds are dying and something needs to be done...
Low Life: Saudade 
Mega-City One, 2130 AD. Justice Department has many divisions within it - Tek, Psi-Div, PSU - and for undercover operations there is Wally Squad. So called because Judges have to adopt the bizarre fashions of the citizens to blend in, it's a dangerous job living on the streets.
Simping Detective: Jokers to the Right 
Mega-City One, 2129 AD. Simped-up private eye Jack Point is an undercover 'Wally Squad' Judge - 'cos only a clown would want to walk the streets of Angeltown, the arse-end of City Bottom. He's got two friends in this world: one's long and hard, and makes your ears ring after every shot; the other's his gun. In fact, Jack's got enemies on both sides of the Law...
